5. Taylor Swift surprise-released her 8th studio album, '"folklore". The 16-track project is an acoustic-folk collection of music, steering away from her pop persona.

6. Nicki Minaj confirmed and announced her pregnancy with a series of pregnancy photoshoot pictures on social media. This will be her first child with husband Kenneth Petty.
