Ashanti Has Won The Fight Against Covid-19
Ashanti celebrated 2021 with all the excitement possible, rightly so, the woman just beat Covid-19. The singer along with her parents ended the year on a happy note by testing negative for the virus. The news comes forward through a post on her social media.
Ashanti shared a post, captioning, “Starting off the new year Amazing and Covid free!!! Got my negative results back 2 days ago, Happy New Year y’all!!! Let’s go 2020WON! ThankuGod ”
Ashanti also took to her Twitter account to share the news about her parents who have tested negative, as well. “Feeling grateful..My parents and I got our negative results back right in time to start of the New Year healthy, happy & loved.”
Ashanti also celebrated the new year with a bang at her own home with family. The singer claims to have done this for the first time and though it’s a new experience, she feels blessed to have been free of the disease.
She captioned the video,” This is the first time in over a decade I actually spent New Year’s Eve/ The New Year at home. It has shown me that your life literally can change in the blink of an eye… with all of the negativity surrounding 2020 it’s also important to celebrate the positive things.. Ashanti Tests Positive For The Wrong Reasons
Ashanti wanted everyone to stay home and safe as she truly started to believe that Covid-19 is not playing with us. On December 12, she tested positive for the virus and shared the news via her social accounts. This was announced just two hours before her performance for the Verzuz battle against Keyshia Cole.
The show has to be cancelled due to the new development of Ashanti’s health. The Verzuz Instagram Account also announced to postpone the event. “We cannot put anyone at risk in the process. First time this has struck us so close to showtime.” The show is rescheduled for January 9, 2021.
