The song is a revamp of ‘Make Me Say It Again Girl, Pts. 1 & 2,’ which was taken from the Isley Brothers’ 1975 album ‘The Heat Is On’. It will be released on 12th August. Isley teased the song’s release with a clip of him and Beyoncé singing a verse.

Kandy Isley, Ronald Isley’s wife, originally hinted at the collaboration last June. She stated that Beyoncé’s contribution would be recorded by early July 2021 in an interview with Variety. It follows the release of the Isley Brothers’ brand-new song, ‘Friends & Family,’ featuring Snoop Dogg last year.

Beyoncé’s seventh studio album, ‘Renaissance’, was released late last month. The album, which is the first of a planned trilogy, debuted at Number One on the US Billboard 200 Charts, becoming her seventh consecutive solo album to do so, along with the UK, Canada, France, Ireland, Australia and several other nations.

In a four-star review of ‘Renaissance,’ NME noted that Beyoncé continues leading the charge to bring Black culture back to the forefront of house and dance scenes and that the album proves that she’s still able to push herself and explore new sonics, styles and ethos.

Since then, Beyoncé has released five remixes of ‘Break My Soul,’ the album’s lead song. Some of these included remixes by artists like Honey Dijon and will.i.am, as well as one labelled ‘The Queens Remix’ that, with Madonna’s permission, incorporates the piano melody from her 1990 song ‘Vogue.’

Earlier this week, in a thank-you note Beyoncé sent to Madonna that the recipient shared on her Instagram story, Beyoncé wrote: “I’m so grateful for you. You have opened so many doors for so many women. You are a masterpiece genius.”

Since its release, Beyoncé has made two updates to ‘Renaissance’. First was the deletion of an ableist word from the song ‘Heated’. After that, she also changed the song ‘Energy’ to remove an interpolation of Kelis’ 2003 song ‘Milkshake’, which Kelis claimed was used without her consent or due credit and that its use was stealing.
