Bob Dylan has quietly put out concert tickets on sale for a tour in support of last year’s album, Rough and Rowdy Ways. The website calls it as a “World Wide Tour 2021-2024.”

The concert business is slowly ramping up after the pandemic pause, which grounded Dylan’s so-called Never Ending Tour. He toured every year from 1988 until 2019.

The Never Ending Tour is the popular name for Bob Dylan‘s endless touring schedule which began on June 7, 1988. During the course of the tour, musicians have come and gone as the band has continued to evolve. The tour amassed a huge fan base with some fans travelling from around the world to attend as many Dylan shows as possible.

The artist’s Rough and Rowdy Ways followed the release of two singles, the 17-minute John F. Kennedy elegy “Murder Most Foul” and “I Contain Multitudes.” “Murder Most Foul” earned Dylan the achievement of his first-ever No. 1 song under his own name on any Billboard chart. This year, Dylan announced a 1980s-era bootleg series release and streamed a concert called Shadow Kingdom. When Dylan released a third single, “False Prophet“, it was accompanied by the news that “Murder Most Foul”, “I Contain Multitudes” and “False Prophet” would all appear on a forthcoming double album.

Rough and Rowdy Ways, Dylan’s 39th studio album and his first album of original material since 2012, was released on June 19 to favorable reviews. A reporter wrote, “For all its bleakness, Rough and Rowdy Ways might well be Bob Dylan’s most consistently brilliant set of songs in years.”
