BTS concludes mega world tour

Pop revelations BTS have officially concluded their year-long leg of stadium tours. The LOVE YOURSELF World Tour was mega event with concerts to promote the Love Yourself series – “Love Yourself: Her” EP, “Love Yourself: Tear” studio album, and “Love Yourself: Answer” compilation album. The tour started in August 2018 and since then BTS have performed 62 shows spanning 14 countries making their tour the highest grossing tour in the world. Due to popular demand, an extension of the event with “BTS World Tour Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” – an all stadium tour across 7 countries promoting their sixth EP “Map of the Soul: Persona”, was added, much to fans delight.

This tour in particular was an emotional rollercoaster for fans and the members alike, with BTS achieving peak stardom while conveying the message of spreading love among their fans and promoting self-love among millions. The tour gave the band the opportunity to gain millions of fans all across the globe, defining them as one of the biggest acts in the world. Since then, they have been breaking records like nobody’s business, making history so fast, it’s kind of become hard to keep up.

The last leg of the world tour was a homecoming affair as they performed 3 back to back sold out shows in Seoul, at the South Korea in Seoul Olympic Stadium from 26th October to 29th October. The members got emotional while performing their last encore track “Mikrokosmos”. The leader of the group, RM a.k.a Kim Namjoon teared up as he ended the concert with bittersweet words – “It’s because of all of you that I have come this far. I hope that our one word, one lyric, can help you in loving yourself. I’m sad that I’m not able to do this tour anymore. I wish there was a word better for love, but I really, truly love you. Please know that.”, he said, fighting back tears.

With rumors about a new release in circulation and their promise to be back on tour soon, the fans are in a for a wild ride.
