During an official visit to the historic town of Kuttenberg, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala was gifted a special Collector’s Edition of 'Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2'. The gesture was made by the town’s mayor, Lukáš Seifert, and documented by Warhorse Studios, the developers behind the acclaimed medieval RPG.
Released on February 4, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 takes players back to 15th-century Bohemia—the region that is now part of the modern Czech Republic. The game has been a major success for Warhorse Studios, surpassing three million units sold since launch. It has earned praise for its detailed historical setting, overhauled combat system, and immersive storytelling.
Warhorse Studios has plans to continue expanding the game throughout 2025. The latest major update, version 1.3, was released on May 15 alongside the Brushes with Death DLC, the first of three planned expansions. These can be purchased separately or through the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Expansion Pass, which is also included with the Collector’s Edition. Prime Minister Fiala, now a proud owner of that edition, will have full access to all upcoming expansions.

The official Warhorse Studios Twitter account shared photos of the moment, including the Prime Minister’s cheerful reaction and a lighthearted note that his team applauded the gift enviously. The developers expressed pride in seeing their work recognized at such a high level in Czech society.
However, while the game is earning recognition both locally and globally, some fans have voiced concerns about technical issues. After the 1.3 update, players reported flickering graphics on certain platforms. While PC users can apply temporary fixes using console commands, players on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S do not currently have access to those tools.
Despite these hiccups, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 continues to build momentum and remains one of Warhorse Studios' biggest successes to date. With more content and updates on the horizon, fans—including Prime Minister Fiala—can expect further developments in Henry’s journey through medieval Bohemia.
