She won a Grammy for Best R&B Song and four other awards including Soul Train Awards. “Exhale” was recorded as the original soundtrack for the 1995 film “Waiting to Exhale” and the music video for the song was directed by Forest Whitaker who shows us close up of Whitney which collides with scenes from the film.
