Hannah Reid of London Grammar And Coldplay Perform ‘Let Somebody Go’

Hannah Reid of London Grammar was invited by Coldplay, to perform with them on-stage, the song ‘Let Somebody Go,’ which features Selena Gomez.

The duet took place during the band’s performance at the Berlin Olympiastadion on 10th July. Currently, London Grammar is accompanying Coldplay on some of their ‘eco-friendly’ world tour dates.

Reid can be seen entering the stage in a fan-shot video, before picking up a verse from the song, which appears on Coldplay’s album ‘Music Of The Spheres’ from 2021.

London Grammar recently spoke with NME about their tour-supporting role for Coldplay. Dot Major, a band member commented backstage at Mad Cool 2022:

“It was pretty mad to be honest, it’s the first stadium show we’ve done, and the first show we’ve done in a little while, so it was kind of crazy.”

Next month, they will support the pop titans at two concerts at Wembley Stadium.

In related Coldplay news, Chris Martin surprised Lizzo during an interview about her track, ‘Coldplay,’ which pays homage to the ‘baby-making’ power of ‘Yellow.’

Martin interrupted Lizzo’s conversation with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, by appearing on a FaceTime call, as she was discussing her fourth album, ‘Special,’ which includes the song.

When they got to the topic of the song’s inspiration, Lizzo was telling Lowe that the concluding track on ‘Special,’ called ‘Coldplay,’ samples ‘Yellow’ and is based on a romantic flashback.
