Metallica's Helping Hands Benefit Concert Returns With Jimmy Kimmel Hosting

Metallica has unveiled plans for their 2024 Helping Hands benefit concert and auction, with Jimmy Kimmel as the host. Scheduled for 13th December, at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, the event aims to support the band’s ‘All Within My Hands’ Foundation. This foundation focuses on workforce education, combating hunger, disaster relief, and more.

In 2022, the band’s previous Helping Hands concert raised $3 million for the foundation, featuring appearances from celebrities like Robert Downey Jr., Tony Hawk, St. Vincent, and Greta Van Fleet.

“We’re psyched to announce we’re adding one more show to the calendar this year,” the band wrote in an Instagram post. “Our @allwithinmyhandsfoundation’s Helping Hands Concert & Auction returns to Los Angeles.”
