Niall Horan in Quarantine: Cleaning, Writing & Finding Love

Life in quarantine has offered up many things to artists across the globe: time to reflect, to find inspiration, to innovate, to find love, to learn of new hobbies – alright, we’re going to stop there. But point being, in a strange twist of fate, this lockdown has left musicians busier. Niall Horan for one, has taken a dip into all these avenues during quarantine. 

For starters, the former One Direction star has discovered a newfound love for cleaning. “Cleaning is so therapeutic, I didn’t realise. I obviously do it in dribs and drabs, but this is basically a month-long spring clean that we’re getting ourselves into and it’s really good,” Horan said. 

The young star also mentioned that he’s been focusing on living a healthier lifestyle. “I find myself sometimes working out twice a day. I want to come out of this absolutely shredded – but I probably won’t because I do like to eat crap.”

Despite releasing his brand new record, ‘Heartbreak Weather,’ back in March, Niall Horan still appears to be dead set on crafting even more new music. He confessed that he’s been trying his hand at the ukulele while also attempting the piano.

“I’ve been picking up a guitar at every opportunity, and trying to write some tunes,” Horan admitted. Now, speaking of life in lockdown, we can’t avoid the topic of love in lockdown.  

According to sources, the star is currently dating the shoe designer Amelia Woolley. The pair are currently in quarantine together and while Horan hasn’t confirmed this as of yet, fans are still buzzing with excitement.
