Sia Joins Forces With Her Favourite Collaborator For A New Track

For the past few months, every week has been witness to a glamorous new collaboration. A duo that arrives on scene and manages to thoroughly shake up the industry with a buzzing new track. In the latter half of August, BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez tied up for ‘Ice Cream’. Then The Weeknd notched a collaboration with Calvin Harris and before that, Burna Boy recruited Coldplay’s Chris Martin for a brand new number. So, suffice it to say that we’ve been gifted a string of unusual tie ups. And this week, a new duo has staked their claim on the spotlight: Sia and David Guetta.

The duo plan to make their landing this Friday with a brand new track titled, ‘Let’s Love’. In fact, on August 27th, David Guetta took to Twitter to reveal the teaser for this track. It featured two animated characters embracing under neon signs, one reading the song’s title. The brief soundscape featured some ambient production elements, but there’s only so much we can make from a 11 second clip.

Now, interestingly enough, this marks the duo’s ninth collaboration together. Sia and David Guetta have been known to put out emotionally-intense pop bangers, led by warped high-energy beats and the former’s enchanting vocals. Previously, they’ve dominated charts with tracks like 2011’s ‘Titanium’ followed by ‘She Wolf‘, ‘Flames‘ and many more. So, it won’t be surprising if this dream team manage to create waves with ‘Let’s Love’ too.

In fact, keeping the energy at an all-time high, Sia and Guetta have also come up with a little challenge for fans. According to a press release, the French DJ and producer is encouraging fans to show the things they love with a unique hashtag challenge (#LetsLove) on the platform (Tik Tok) all week. He’s calling on fans around the world to share their stories of positivity, love and happiness, David has filmed his own messages that encourage users to participate.

In other news, it looks like Sia has nabbed yet another impressive collaboration. Just last week, the rising star, SZA, confessed that she’s been working alongside Sia for a track that will find its space on her upcoming album. But for now, it’s only a few days until we find out what Sia and David have managed to cook up in the studios.
