This Week, Cardi B Will Release ‘Hot S**t’ Featuring Ye And Lil Durk
A new song called ‘Hot S**t,’ which will have appearances from Ye and Lil Durk, has been announced by Cardi B.
An advertisement that aired during the 2022 BET Awards announced the song’s release on 26th June. Later, Cardi shared the advertisement on her own social media, announcing that the song would be made available on 1st July.
Though it’s the first time she’s listed as the lead artist, ‘Hot S**t’ will be Cardi’s third release of the year. In March, the rapper worked on ‘No Love’ with Summer Walker and SZA, and in April, he appeared on ‘Shake It’ with Kay Flock, Dougie B and Bory300. The most recent single with Cardi as the lead artist was ‘Bet It,’ which was included on the soundtrack for the movie ‘Bruised’.
In order to finish her second studio album, the Bronx rapper informed her audience in early 2020 that she was ‘going away for a very long period.’ Then, in December 2021, she disclosed that she was already working on the album in a ‘ghetto a** studio’ and that she would release the follow-up to 2017’s ‘Invasion Of Privacy’ sometime in 2022. She informed her followers of ‘technical issues’ with her brand-new music in May.
Cardi responded to criticism she received earlier this month after admitting that two of her older tracks, the Megan Thee Stallion-assisted ‘WAP’ from 2020 and ‘Up’ from last year, would be included on her upcoming album.
