Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, co-stars in the upcoming film adaptation of ‘Wicked’, have showcased their shared bond with matching tattoos. The lead actresses, portraying Glinda the Good Witch (Grande, 30) and Elphaba (Erivo, 36), revealed the ink on Instagram.

The tattoos feature a poppy flower, likely a nod to 'The Wizard of Oz''s poppy field, and the phrase "for good," a reference to the emotional duet of the same name in the ‘Wicked’ musical. Both tattoos are elegantly placed on the hands of the actresses, symbolizing their connection and collaboration on the project.

Although Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo recently shared their matching tattoos on social media, the "For Good" ink isn't exactly brand new. Ariana's Instagram story, posted last Friday, indicated that the tattoo dates back to last April. Regarding the poppy tattoo shared by Erivo, it's unclear whether the floral design was added later or done on the same day during the spring.

Since taking on their roles in the Broadway-to-screen adaptation, both Grande and Erivo have spoken warmly about their close friendship. Erivo expressed the uniqueness of their connection, stating on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon that they now share a bond like family.

This connection extends to their vocal harmony, with Erivo noting that although their voices are quite distinct, they blend seamlessly when they sing together.

During the 'Wicked' filming, Ariana Grande also found love with her co-star Ethan Slater. The highly anticipated first ‘Wicked’ film is set to premiere in theatres in November 2024, followed by the release of the second installment a year later.
