Ariana Grande Said to Join Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro in ‘Meet the Parents’ Sequel

Ariana Grande may be joining the next chapter of the ‘Meet the Parents’ comedy series. The film, which would be the fourth in the franchise, is expected to bring back Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro, with Blythe Danner and Teri Polo also reportedly in talks to return, although those deals have not been finalized yet.

The franchise originally followed Greg Focker (played by Stiller), a nurse navigating the challenges of winning over his girlfriend Pam’s strict father, Jack Byrnes (played by De Niro). Universal is said to have scheduled the new film for release on November 25, 2026.

John Hamburg, who co-wrote all three previous films, is set to return as both writer and director. While the studio has not confirmed specific plot details, insiders suggest the story will focus on Greg and Pam’s son getting engaged to a woman who seems completely mismatched with him—a role that sources believe Grande will take on.

She performed a medley at the Academy Awards with her co-star Cynthia Erivo, and both artists are expected to appear in a live TV musical special ahead of the sequel, ‘Wicked: For Good’, which is due in cinemas on November 21.
