Ben Stiller is building excitement around the next 'Meet the Parents' film, teasing fans about Ariana Grande’s surprising performance in the upcoming sequel 'Focker-in-Law.'.

Speaking on the red carpet at the 2025 Emmy Awards alongside his wife Christine Taylor, Stiller described how effortlessly Grande has joined the cast. The actor emphasised that the pop star, who first rose to fame as a singer, has blended seamlessly into the comedy franchise.

Grande, who is set to appear in an undisclosed role, was officially confirmed to be part of the project earlier this year. News of her casting followed reports that Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro were preparing to continue the story after 2010's 'Little Fockers.'

What Ben Stiller Said About Ariana Grande

According to Ben Stiller, Grande has proven herself to be a natural fit for comedy as well as music, bringing both humour and energy to the film. He explained that her character brings something fresh and distinctive to the story, and he noted how much fun it has been sharing scenes with De Niro, Owen Wilson, and the rest of the returning cast.

The sequel will once again feature Ben Stiller and De Niro as Greg Focker and Jack Byrnes, reprising their long-standing dynamic from the original 2000 hit. Teri Polo and Blythe Danner will also return as Pam and Dina Byrnes. Previous sequels expanded the ensemble with stars such as Barbra Streisand and Dustin Hoffman as Greg's parents. While Streisand has expressed hesitation about returning, fans remain hopeful for a cameo.

The new instalment, written by John Hamburg, continues the franchise's tradition of awkward family comedy. 'Focker-in-Law' is slated to hit theatres on 25th November, 2026, marking the fourth chapter in the beloved comedy series.
