With fondness, appreciation, and candor, Lively explained that 'Gossip Girl' was more than just a part of her role; it was her school, her community, and a crucial period in her early professional life.

Rare Throwbacks and Iconic Moments

The carousel post she shared include a bunch of images featuring co‑stars like Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Ed Westwick, Chace Crawford, and the late Michelle Trachtenberg, who passed away earlier this year.

The iconic Cotillion scene from the Season 1 episode "Hi, Society," in which Serena and Dan (Lively and Badgley) are fully dressed in formal attire, is one of the most notable images.

What the Show Meant & Its Lasting Legacy

Blake Lively captioned the post, "The summer Gossip Girl turned 18...This show was my college. It was my education, my social life, my hard work, my late nights and early mornings, my teacher. New York City and Silvercup Studios (& sometimes Paris) was my campus for SIX years. So many memories. What. A. Decade. What a University."

Lively and her co-stars gained enormous fame after 'Gossip Girl' debuted in September 2007 and continued for six seasons until 2012. The show remains well‑known today for its fashion, its New York City setting, its drama and its cultural impact—especially among younger viewers then and those discovering it now.

Even after all these years, pictures like these remind fans why 'Gossip Girl' has stayed in conversation: the glamour, the friendships, the inside jokes, and the behind‑the‑camera grit.

The post shows that Lively still has a special place in her heart for 'Gossip Girl,' despite the fact that she has pursued a range of business ventures, personal projects, and movie roles.
