Electric pulses, digital dread, and the hum of synths—that's the new soundtrack vibe setting the stage for 'Tron: Ares.' The soundtrack CD by Nine Inch Nails (Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross), which was released on 19th September, gives Disney's upcoming 'Tron: Ares' movie a new industrial-electronic vibe. With 24 songs and no orchestral accompaniment, it is the band's first independently released film soundtrack, changing viewers' perceptions of what Tron music can sound like.

What's in the Soundtrack & What Makes It Unique?
Nine Inch Nails is the only composer of The 'Tron: Ares' (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), which is their first complete score to feature the band name instead of merely the songwriters' individual credits. It has 24 tracks that have been made available on vinyl, CD, and digital platforms. The lead song, 'As Alive As You Need Me to Be,' which is co-produced by Boys Noize, was released on 17th July.

Evocative titles like 'Infiltrator,' 'This Changes Everything,' 'Who Wants to Live Forever?' and 'Shadow Over Me' are among the other tunes in the list. These all add to a soundscape that strikes a balance between tension, intensity, sorrow, and dread. The score intentionally deviates from previous Tron soundtracks (like Tron: Legacy) by relying entirely on electronics, synths, distortion, and atmosphere rather than symphonic music.
