BTS are rumoured to be planning their long-awaited return to the stage in March 2026, following the completion of mandatory military service by all seven members. The speculation comes just as Jimin, Jungkook, RM and V have wrapped up their enlistment, joining Jin and J-Hope, who were discharged in 2023. Suga, the final member to complete his service, is expected to be discharged by this weekend.

While neither BTS nor their label Big Hit Music have confirmed any plans, reports have suggested that a comeback timeline may already be in motion. According to The Korea Herald, an unnamed source from HYBE — the entertainment company behind BTS — claimed that a series of comeback events are being lined up for March next year. The source reportedly said that mid-March is the likely timeframe.

Two additional sources from outside South Korea are also said to have supported the idea, noting that BTS could be returning around the same time as fellow HYBE group Tomorrow X Together (TXT). One of the sources remarked that BTS might take the lead, followed by TXT, though the exact scheduling remains uncertain.

Further speculation came from claims that Enhypen — another group under the HYBE umbrella — had initially planned shows for March 2026, but reportedly pushed them forward to January to avoid clashing with BTS's expected return.

Although the buzz continues to grow, there has been no official announcement from the band or their management, leaving the reports unconfirmed for now.

Suga, the only member who didn’t serve in the military due to a previous shoulder injury, completed an alternative form of national service and will mark the final discharge among the group.

BTS officially went on hiatus in 2022 to fulfil their service obligations and pursue solo projects. Among these, Jin recently released his second solo single, ‘Echo’.

V Teases Powerful BTS Reunion Post-Military Service

In past interviews, V had hinted that the group was keen to regroup once all members were discharged. He had told Apple Music 1 that June would mark an important moment, saying the group intended to reunite quickly and discuss their future. He also mentioned that the energy from their return would be “massive”. Speaking to Weverse Magazine, he added that reuniting as BTS would have a powerful impact and said he was looking forward to performing together again in full force.
