Channing Tatum is building major hype for Marvel's upcoming 'Avengers: Doomsday,' hinting that the film will take superhero storytelling to a whole new level.

The 45-year-old actor, who recently appeared as Gambit in 'Deadpool & Wolverine', shared his excitement during the premiere of his latest film, 'Roofman.' Tatum explained that Marvel continues to raise the bar with every release, and from what he has read, 'Avengers: Doomsday' will be one of the most ambitious projects yet.

A Movie Bigger Than 'Deadpool & Wolverine'

According to Channing Tatum, fans should prepare for something far beyond what they experienced with 'Deadpool & Wolverine.' He compared the scale of 'Avengers: Doomsday' to the shocking Blade cameo in 'Deadpool & Wolverine', but on a much larger level—suggesting that audiences will be overwhelmed by its surprises and spectacle.

Robert Downey Jr.'s Villainous Return

While Marvel has not revealed the official plot, many believe inspiration could come from the 2011 'Ultimate Comics: Doomsday' storyline. In those comics, the Fantastic Four join forces with other Marvel heroes to confront a villain threatening their universe, who ultimately turns out to be a familiar face gone dark in the multiverse.

This comic arc fuels speculation about Robert Downey Jr.'s return to the MCU—not as Tony Stark, but as a new version of Doctor Doom. Downey's villainous comeback was teased at Marvel's 2024 Comic-Con panel, making fans even more eager for the film.
