The official countdown to Coachella 2026 has begun, and it looks like it will be one of the most thrilling years yet. The roster has just been revealed, and the main acts will be pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter, international superstar Justin Bieber, and reggaeton powerhouse Karol G. The event will take place over two weekends, at the legendary Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
Headliners Set to Dominate the Desert
Coachella 2026's top lineup, which includes Karol G, Justin Bieber, and Sabrina Carpenter, has been officially announced, through its official Instagram account on 16th September. The festival will be held again over two weekends, 10th-12th April and 17th –19th April, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. In keeping with her 2024 Coachella debut pledge, Sabrina Carpenter will be the main act on both Fridays (April 10 and 17).
On both the Saturdays (11th and 18th April), Justin Bieber will take center stage. This will be his first formal headlining performance at Coachella; he has only ever performed as a guest.
On both Sundays (12th and 19th April ), Karol G finishes up the festival, solidifying her place as one of Latin music's leading stars on one of the greatest venues in the world.
Beyond the Big Three: A Lineup Bursting with Variety
The festival's typical blend of genres and international presence is reflected in the supporting performers. Rising and diverse voices like Young Thug, FKA Twigs, Wet Leg, The xx, BIGBANG, Taemin, and up-and-coming artists like KATSEYE will be joining the bill alongside rock and alternative mainstays like The Strokes and Iggy Pop.
With artists like Major Lazer, Kaskade, Disclosure, Anyma (who will release a record titled "Æden"), and Nine Inch Noize, electronic and EDM elements will also be heavily featured. "The Bunker Debut of Radiohead Kid A Mnesia" is also hinted to at the bottom of the poster, implying a unique immersive or exhibition-style element connected to Radiohead's Kid A/Amnesiac period.

VIP and general admission passes will go on sale at 11 a.m. Pacific Time on Friday, 19th September. The lineup is the same for both weekends, although prices differ according to the type of pass and the weekend.
How different will be Coachella 2026?
Coachella 2026 is different from the previous year in a number of ways. In 2025, pop, rock, and hip-hop heavyweights Travis Scott, Lady Gaga, Green Day, and Post Malone were the main acts. Conversely, Justin Bieber, Karol G, and Sabrina Carpenter indicate a more modern pop-centric lineup, with Bieber making his first Coachella headlining appearance in 2026. Additionally, there is an effort for geographical and genre diversity: Karol G, who hasn't been a regular feature in many years, takes Latin pop/reggaeton to a prominent position as the main act for both Sundays.

Additionally, 2026 features more EDM/electronic, international music, and immersive/stage-experience acts (such as "The Bunker Debut of Radiohead Kid A Mnesia"), which adds uniqueness in structure.
All things considered, 2026 appears to be focused on both elevating up-and-coming pop performers to the main stage and broadening the festival's musical and cultural offerings beyond what was possible in 2025.
