She made the comment while expressing her respect for 'Bugonia' and her wish to collaborate with Lanthimos on further projects in the future.

Johnson graced the Bugonia Q&A event in a stunning winter ensemble, featuring a long black Valentino coat paired with a matching midi skirt, accented with feather trims and shearling cuffs. As she chaired the conversation, the actress, who also appears in Valentino's Cruise 2026 campaign, looked effortlessly stylish. She spoke during the event about how enthralled she was with the movie, claiming to have seen it twice in a single day.

During the Bugonia Q&A, Dakota Johnson didn't hold back—with a grin, she teased director Yorgos Lanthimos about his frequent collaborations with Emma Stone. "Are you aware that there are other actresses, that are really talented, maybe even very close by?" she quipped, drawing laughter from the audience. Stone, playing along, looked at Lanthimos and said, "What! No, right?" Johnson then nudged her: "No, go for it, do your pitch, work on your pitch." She admitted mischievously, "I already did and it didn't work, remember? You were there."
