Emma Stone has finally revealed which of her former co-stars she thinks might not be from this planet—and she didn't hesitate with her answer.

While promoting her new sci-fi comedy 'Bugonia' on 'The Late Show,' the Oscar-winning actress was asked which celebrity she believes could secretly be an alien living among humans. Without missing a beat, Emma Stone named her 'Poor Things,' and 'Kinds of Kindness' co-star Willem Dafoe.

Her quick and confident response surprised host Stephen Colbert, who pointed out that she didn't even have to think about it. Emma Stone went on to explain that Dafoe simply gives off an otherworldly vibe and that if it were ever revealed he was an alien, no one would be shocked. In her view, he would be the best kind of extraterrestrial—one that everyone would welcome to Earth.

Colbert agreed with her assessment, joking that Dafoe could easily pass as an alien disguised in human form. Stone laughed, calling him her favourite alien.

Emma Stone and Willem Dafoe Share a Strong Partnership

The two actors have developed a strong creative partnership under director Yorgos Lanthimos, starring together in 'Poor Things'—which earned Emma Stone her second Academy Award—and again in 'Kinds of Kindness' earlier this year.

Both stars also share ties to the 'Spider-Man' universe, with Dafoe famously portraying the Green Goblin in the Tobey Maguire films and Emma Stone playing Gwen Stacy opposite Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker.

Emma Stone on Her New Bald Look in 'Bugonia'

During the same interview, Stone also talked about her commitment to her new 'Bugonia' role, which required her to shave her head. To keep the transformation under wraps, she wore wigs at public events, though she admitted she wasn't exactly subtle about it. She confessed that she kept asking people if they could tell it was fake, inadvertently giving herself away.

Despite the challenges, Emma Stone said she loved having a shaved head, describing it as freeing and even meditative. She shared that showering without hair felt amazing and that she misses the simplicity of it.

'Bugonia' follows Emma Stone's character as she's abducted by two men who suspect she's an alien—a premise that now feels all the more fitting given her lighthearted belief that Willem Dafoe might actually be one himself.
