Emma Stone is captivating audiences once again—this time with a quirky twist. The acclaimed actress stars in the surreal and emotionally rich music video for 'Beth’s Farm', the latest single by avant-garde composer Jerskin Fendrix. Helmed by celebrated filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos, the six-minute short blends dreamlike visuals with themes of loss, nostalgia, and bittersweet childhood memories.

The video serves as a striking companion to Fendrix’s upcoming album 'Once Upon a Time... in Shropshire', and continues the dynamic creative synergy between Stone, Fendrix, and Lanthimos. The collaboration is being praised for capturing the emotional tone of the track through a surrealist cinematic lens, building on the trio’s reputation for bold, genre-defying storytelling.

Emma Stone is in The New Look

Emma Stone, 36, sports a chic, whimsical pixie cut in the music video—a look that not only suits the offbeat tone of the video but is rumoured to be connected to her role in the upcoming Lanthimos sci-fi dark comedy Bugonia. She appears alongside Fendrix, 30, in what critics are already calling a visually breathtaking and conceptually ambitious piece.

Lanthimos expressed enthusiasm about reuniting with his longtime collaborators, noting that working with Emma Stone and others from their previous projects added a sense of continuity and creative depth. He praised Fendrix’s second album as a deeply personal work, calling the opportunity to contribute narrative visuals to the music a meaningful experience.

The Three Artists are Reuniting

This latest project builds on a string of successful partnerships among the three artists. They previously collaborated on 'Kinds of Kindness' and the Oscar-winning 'Poor Things', which garnered major awards recognition. Stone won her second Best Actress Oscar, while Lanthimos was nominated for Best Director and Fendrix for Original Score.

Alongside 'Beth’s Farm', the trio is also part of 'Bugonia', hitting theatres on 24th October. The film features a cast that includes Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias, Alicia Silverstone, and Jesse Plemons—both of whom are returning Lanthimos collaborators. Stone also serves as a producer on the project, further cementing her role as a central figure in Lanthimos’ creative universe.

'Once Upon a Time... in Shropshire', Fendrix’s new album, is scheduled for release on 10th October, just ahead of Bugonia's debut. The music video for 'Beth’s Farm' offers an enticing preview of what fans can expect from both the album and the film: imaginative storytelling, unconventional aesthetics, and a fearless approach to art.
