When it comes to Halloween, no one does it quite like Heidi Klum. Over the course of 25 years, the TV personality and supermodel has transformed her yearly Halloween celebration into a worldwide display of creativity and imagination. This year, Klum stunned everyone by transforming into the fabled serpent-haired Medusa to commemorate the 25th anniversary of her renowned 'Heidiween' party in New York City.
The event, held at the Hard Rock Hotel, drew a glittering lineup of celebrities who gathered to witness what has become one of the most anticipated costume reveals of the year.

For her much-anticipated 2025 Halloween blow-out, Heidi Klum delivered a shockingly elaborate and theatrical transformation. Klum, dressed as the legendary Gorgon Medusa, slithered down the red carpet at the Hard Rock Hotel New York, marking what many are referring to as her 25th (!) Halloween celebration (although press notes refer to it as the 24th annual). Her full-body snakeskin suit, mechanized writhing snakes atop her head, forked tongue, fangs and green-yellow snake-eyes left attendees and photographers gasping.
She reportedly has worked with a team of around 15 artists for months to execute the concept, putting in nine to ten hours on prosthetics and makeup. Klum herself said she wanted "a really ugly, ugly Medusa" and that "we nailed it—to the teeth."

The Couple's Costume Duo: Stone-Cold Partner
Joining Klum on this mythological mission was her husband Tom Kaulitz, who complemented the Medusa theme by arriving as a stone-turned Greek soldier. His makeup gave him a grey, fractured, and sculpture-like appearance, alluding to the myth of Medusa's ability to transform people into stone. Together, Klum and Kaulitz once again underscored their reputation for carefully coordinated couple costumes (they've previously gone as E.T. aliens, a fisherman and worm, Shrek and Fiona, among others). Their Maleficent-style synergy added an extra layer of theatrical fun to the event.

Star-Studded Revelry and Party Highlights
Klum's legendary Halloween bash drew several celebrities and costume-enthusiasts alike. Darren Criss in green paint as Shrek, Maye Musk as Cruella de Vil, and Ariana Madix as Lady Gaga were among the attendees. Inside, DJ-legend Questlove handled the turntables, setting the mood for one of the wildest Heidiween celebrations to date.
While visitors mixed in fanciful costumes and the atmosphere was humming with excitement, Klum’s Medusa moment took center stage. The party, as always, brings out Klum's creative dedication to Halloween—planning begins months ahead, the artistry is meticulous, and the surprise element remains high.
