A Star-Studded 'Highlander' Reboot

Directed by 'John Wick' filmmaker Chad Stahelski, 'Highlander' was set to begin production in September. Cavill’s injury caused a temporary setback, but the film's momentum remains strong. Recent casting announcements have generated excitement, with Russell Crowe joining the lineup alongside 'Guardians of the Galaxy' stars Djimon Hounsou, Karen Gillan, and Dave Bautista. Jeremy Irons and professional wrestler Drew McIntyre are also part of the ensemble. The screenplay is being crafted by 'House of the Dragon' creator Ryan Condal, with contributions from Michael Finch and Kerry Williamson.

With Cavill leading the film and Stahelski directing, 'Highlander' is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated action releases in the coming years.
