A Love Never Sealed: Pacino's Regret

Diane Keaton and Al Pacino first met while filming 'The Godfather' in the early 1970s, when Keaton portrayed Kay Adams opposite Pacino's Michael Corleone. According to reports, their personal relationship started in 1974 and continued intermittently until roughly 1990. Tensions increased over time as a result of Keaton's alleged need for a more serious commitment and her ultimatum for marriage, which Pacino was unable to accept.

After they parted, Pacino is believed to have carried lingering feelings. Close sources claim that he is plagued by the thought that he lost his opportunity now that Keaton is no longer with him. An insider told the media, "He will forever regret he didn't make his move when he had the chance."
