Blake Lively's participation in the 'It Ends With Us' movie came with a high-profile contract that offered a ton of luxury benefits in addition to a sizable salary. Details from the original deal have been made public, exposing an extremely lucrative offer tailored to satisfy the expectations of one of Hollywood's top actresses, even though the contract was never finalized due to her ongoing legal dispute with co-star and director Justin Baldoni.

A Lucrative Salary with Bonuses and Profit Sharing

According to reports, Blake Lively received a base pay of $1.75 million for playing Lily Bloom in 'It Ends With Us,' demonstrating how important her star power was to the movie's success. In addition to this set amount, the contract stipulated that she would receive 10% of the film's box office receipts, meaning that if the movie did well, her profits may rise significantly.

Lavish Perks Designed for Comfort and Convenience

In addition to monetary pay, the contract provided a number of opulent benefits to ensure Blake Lively's comfort and convenience while filming. One of these benefits was private jet travel to and from Las Vegas for Blake and her whole group, which comprised two nannies, a personal assistant, a security detail, and her four kids. A private driver and an exclusive-use trailer for the actress were also provided on set, guaranteeing a degree of privacy and comfort that is uncommon in normal production contracts.

In addition, a $1,500 assistant fee and weekly allowances were set aside for training and meals. These extras demonstrated Blake's standing as a top-tier Hollywood talent and amply demonstrated the movie’s dedication to meeting her needs throughout the production.

The Film's Release and Reception

Due in great part to the success of the best-selling book on which it was based, 'It Ends With Us' made its debut in 2024 to a combination of critical praise and intense public curiosity. The film received acclaim for its directing and performances, and audiences were moved by its emotional depth and potent depiction of delicate subjects. The film did well at the box office, reaching and sometimes beyond expectations despite the off-screen scandals surrounding its development. Its financial success confirmed the project's high stakes, and showed that Blake Lively could handle a demanding lead role despite behind-the-scenes legal issues.

Legal Disputes Halted the Agreement's Finalization

In the end, Blake Lively chose not to sign the proposed contract, even though it was comprehensive and generous. The creation and release of 'It Ends With Us' was hampered by her legal disputes with Justin Baldoni, which included claims of sexual harassment and retribution during the film's production. Baldoni filed a defamation countersuit, but it was dismissed.

He has denied all of the accusations. Court hearings are planned for early 2026, and the issue is still a pending resolution. The future of the movie and Blake's involvement are questionable as a result of these ongoing issues, which cloud what was originally supposed to be a high-profile partnership.
