Mark Ronson Hopes to DJ at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's Wedding

Renowned producer and DJ Mark Ronson responded without hesitation when asked whether he would like to be a part of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's special day. Ronson hinted that he is "keeping the year open" in case he is asked to DJ their wedding during a recent interview on BBC Radio 2's 'The Scott Mills Breakfast Show.' His remarks, which were spoken with genuineness and a dash of entertainment flair, have raised questions about who would break the record at one of the most anticipated ceremonies in 2025.

Ronson's Audition: "I'm keeping the year open"

Ronson acknowledged that a lot of names will probably be pitched for the position when he made the comment during a radio broadcast. "There are a lot of people putting themselves up for that role," he said, but he also added, "I am keeping the year open as well because you never know who might get that call." He even brought up a recent occasion: he DJ'd Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s wedding, which was attended by Taylor too. He joked that he might not have "sold his services" properly because he didn't witness her dancing.

Ronson's playful tone continues in other appearances. On The Tonight Show in September, after the rock band Foreigner (his stepfather Mick Jones's group) made an offer to play at Swift's wedding, Ronson piped up, "And while we're here—if you guys need a DJ, Travis, Taylor?" His stepfather's band had earlier posted an "open letter" offering themselves as the wedding band too.

Swift & Ronson: Past Ties, High Hopes, and Wedding Rumours

Although they haven't worked closely together recently, Taylor Swift and Mark Ronson are respected by one another in the music industry. Now, Ronson's interest heightens the excitement surrounding the wedding while also exposing the competitive landscape. Other celebrities, such as Jimmy Fallon, have made jokes about helping out as well (Fallon offered to perform stand-up comedy at the event).

Regarding Taylor and Travis, they became engaged in August 2025 after Kelce proposed in his backyard in Kansas City, which was temporarily converted into a flower garden. According to Taylor, she will not begin wedding preparations until she has wrapped up her promotional work for her new album, 'The Life of a Showgirl.'

According to recent reports, the couple might choose to skip a traditional DJ entirely in favor of live music, preferring a more intimate atmosphere over a show. As of right now, neither the wedding date nor the official plan have been made public. The pair has not disclosed any information, and although there is a lot of fan conjecture, it is unclear if they would accept offers from celebrities like Ronson or take a more subdued approach.
