Meghan Markle is evaluating the future of her Netflix series 'With Love, Meghan' following the mixed reception of its second season. The lifestyle show, which features Markle sharing tips on cooking, gardening, hosting, and celebrity interviews with stars like Mindy Kaling, Chrissy Teigen, Tan France, and José Andrés, may not return in the same eight-episode format.
Markle highlighted that while the first season debuted in Netflix's top 10 in March, the second season, released in August, did not achieve the same level of viewership. She reflected on the challenges of producing an eight-episode series, drawing on her experience from seven years on 'Suits,' and noted the significant effort that goes into each production.

Meghan Markle Experimenting With New Formats
With the upcoming holiday special scheduled for November, Meghan Markle emphasised the potential for experimenting with different formats. She indicated that the team is exploring shorter content options, such as two-minute recipe segments or other bite-sized videos, to complement traditional episodes and expand the reach of her As Ever brand, her line of shelf-stable foods and wines launched earlier this year.
The Duchess also discussed the couple's ongoing partnership with Netflix. She and Prince Harry originally signed a reported $100 million deal with the streamer in 2020 and recently extended it as a first-look agreement.

This arrangement allows them to present new projects to Netflix first while maintaining the flexibility to distribute content with other partners if it isn't the right fit for the platform.
As Meghan Markle experiments with new content formats and continues building her lifestyle and culinary brand, fans may see 'With Love, Meghan' evolve in ways beyond the traditional eight-episode structure, blending short-form digital content with longer-format specials.
