The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, aka. VMA delivered a night full of unforgettable performances, major wins, and historic firsts. Ariana Grande took home the coveted Video of the Year award for her hit 'Brighter Days Ahead,' cementing her place as one of the evening's biggest stars. She ended the night with three trophies overall.

Lady Gaga emerged as the top winner at the VMA, collecting four awards including Artist of the Year. The honour came just days after she cancelled a Miami concert due to vocal strain. In her acceptance, she explained that she couldn't remain at the VMAs because she was heading straight to Madison Square Garden for a scheduled performance. Later in the show, viewers saw her live delivering powerful renditions of 'Abracadabra' and 'The Dead Dance' from New York City.
