Robert Irwin is moving from his 'Dancing with the Stars' victory straight to the big screen. The 21-year-old conservationist and television personality makes his feature film debut in Disney's 'Zootopia 2,' appearing as a cameo voice actor for a koala character named Robert Furwin. The role carries added meaning for Irwin, who has dedicated much of his life to wildlife conservation in Australia and is the son of the late Steve Irwin.
Robert Irwin on Joining 'Zootopia 2' Voice Cast
Irwin attended the film's Los Angeles premiere on 13th November alongside his 'Dancing with the Stars' partner, Witney Carson, just days before the pair won the 2025 season. On the red carpet, he shared that stepping into the world of animation felt deeply surreal. He described being part of a movie that celebrates all animals—whether reptiles, snakes, bunnies, or koalas—as something that resonates strongly with his passion for wildlife.

Voicing a koala, Robert Irwin explained, felt especially meaningful because of his long-standing hands-on work with the species in Australia. Bringing an animal so close to his heart to life on screen was, for him, an unforgettable experience.
