Selena Gomez has already picked out a lineup of movies she dreams of one day sharing with her future kids. During her appearance on the latest episode of 'Good Hang with Amy Poehler,' the 33-year-old singer and actress reflected on two movies that deeply moved her and left a lasting impression.
The discussion began when Gomez reflected on her own life and drew a comparison to the experiences of her 12-year-old sister, Gracie. She explained that her sister is at the age when children often begin to feel self-conscious. Since Amy Poehler voices the character Joy in Disney and Pixar's 'Inside Out' franchise, Selena Gomez brought up the movie, saying it resonated strongly with both her and her sister.
She admitted that she cried while watching the film, calling it incredibly true to life. Gomez even suggested that 'Inside Out' should be part of school learning because of the way it explains emotions and the human mind.

Released in 2015, 'Inside Out' follows Riley, an 11-year-old girl, as she navigates a big move with the help of her core emotions: Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust, and Sadness. Selena Gomez revealed that the story was so powerful that it also moved her younger sister to tears.
Poehler emphasised that the 2024 sequel, 'Inside Out 2,' brought a new twist by introducing the character of anxiety as an emotion. She noted that anxiety is universal, affecting children, teenagers, and adults alike, making the film relatable to every generation.
