Jennifer Lopez brings her signature star power to the big screen in 'Kiss of the Spider Woman,' marking her first-ever movie musical. Directed and co-written by Bill Condon, the film opens in theatres on 10th October 2025, and showcases Lopez's talents as a singer, dancer, and actor in one lavish production.

'Kiss of the Spider Woman' Musical Sequence Background
The musical sequence emerges from the imagination of Tonatiuh's character, Luis Molina, a queer Argentine political prisoner. Molina spins cinematic fantasies to distract himself and his cellmate, revolutionary Valentin Arregui, played by Diego Luna. In his imagined version of Ingrid's movie, both Molina and Valentin assume roles, creating a Technicolour dreamscape filled with music, dance, and romance.
The 'Kiss of the Spider Woman' cast also includes Emilia Clarke as Pippa, Natalie Portman as Mary Muggle-Wump, Timothy Simons as Marty Muggle-Wump, Nicole Byer, Jason Mantzoukas, Alan Tudyk, and a few others. The film's soundtrack features contributions from David Byrne of Talking Heads and Paramore's Hayley Williams, adding three original songs to the musical lineup.
