Their professional bond dates back to before Grande's Broadway debut in '13: The Musical,' back when she was still a teenager. Over time, Eric Vetro witnessed her growth not only as a vocalist but as a human being. He noted that she taught him a great deal about kindness, emotional intelligence, and truly seeing others. Watching Grande perform 'For Good' alongside Erivo on the big screen later reignited those feelings and reminded him how powerful their journey together has been.

In addition to the original Broadway songs, 'Wicked: For Good' includes two brand-new tracks written by composer Stephen Schwartz. One of them, 'The Girl in the Bubble,' is performed by Grande's Glinda character. Eric Vetro revealed that Grande was deeply excited and emotionally invested in the new music, approaching the role with gratitude and respect for the legacy of the material.
He also highlighted her work ethic, sharing that she never treated the project casually or took the opportunity for granted. According to him, Grande consistently strived to honour the story, the music, and the fans by giving her absolute best, which is a big reason why she remains such a standout performer and collaborator.
With her performance in 'Wicked: For Good,' Ariana Grande continues to earn praise not just for her voice, but for her heart—both of which left a lasting impact on those closest to her during the making of the film.
