‘Zootopia 2’ Trailer Reveals New Mystery for Officer Hopps Nearly a Decade Later

The ‘Zootopia 2’ squad is back!

‘Zootopia’ is making its big-screen comeback nearly ten years after its Oscar-winning premiere. Disney formally unveiled the first teaser trailer for ‘Zootopia 2’. Fans are excited to see the adored team of Officer Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde again as they prepare for another exciting journey in the colourful animal metropolis.

 The sequel ‘Zootopia 2’, which is scheduled to open in theatres on 26th November, unveils a fresh mystery that upends the busy animal city.  This time, Judy and Nick embark on an exciting investigation when a charming but disruptive new character dubbed Gary De'Snake, portrayed by Ke Huy Quan, appears.  Their partnership is put to the ultimate test as their quest for the truth compels them to go undercover in strange parts of the city.

Shakira returns as the pop sensation Gazelle, and Fortune Feimster and Quinta Brunson join the original cast.  Along with her famous tiger backing dancers, the international superstar teased new music, choreography, and an updated appearance for her persona during a fan event in Brazil, confirming her return.

 Fans are promised a more expansive and daring voyage into ‘Zootopia 2’ by directors Jared Bush and Byron Howard, who both return for the sequel.  Bush made hints that the movie would show viewers areas of the city that had not been seen before, such as vast desert areas and marshes that are home to semi-aquatic creatures.  Judy and Nick will encounter new people, face personal development, and learn more about the city's secrets as they go.

The original song ‘ZUTU,’ performed by the made-up techno group LEMEEENS, is also featured in the teaser.  The energetic anthem was written by the lemming band, who were newly elevated to start Gazelle's tour, to greet fans as they returned to the colourful world of ‘Zootopia’.

 One of the year's most anticipated animated pictures, ‘Zootopia 2’ aims to once again combine poignant storytelling, witty humour, and social commentary with a diverse cast, intriguing new settings, and a compelling plot.
