NSYNC is Back on The Billboard Charts After 2 Decades

By Silviya Y

The iconic boy band NSYNC has made a comeback to the Billboard Hot 100 after more than two decades. Their latest single, titled ‘Better Place,’ has catapulted them back onto the music scene. This marks a significant milestone for a group that has been on hiatus since 2002. The last time NSYNC graced the Billboard charts was in 2002 with ‘Girlfriend,’ featuring Nelly, which marked their 13th appearance on the Hot 100. To put this into perspective, George W. Bush was in the White House, ‘A Beautiful Mind’ had just secured the Best Picture Oscar, and the world was still years away from the release of the first iPhone. NSYNC's absence from the music scene left fans eagerly anticipating a comeback, and over the years, there were occasional glimpses of hope, but now it has finally happened.  The occasional reunions for special events, such as the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards and the reception of a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 2018, kept hope alive. Still, it was the recent presentation of an award to Taylor Swift at the VMAs that rekindled the excitement for NSYNC enthusiasts. The speculation and excitement reached a high with the release of ‘Better Place.’ This new track is featured on the soundtrack of the animated movie ‘Trolls Band Together,’ a film franchise known for its association with NSYNC alum, Justin Timberlake. The movie centers around the reunion of a former boy band, making ‘Better Place’ a fitting addition. Justin Timberlake himself described the song as "a love letter to our fans," expressing the emotional connection between the group and their dedicated supporters.

By Silviya Y

The ‘Chandelier’ singer made waves at the fifth annual Daytime Beauty Awards in Los Angeles recently, where she graced the stage to present an award to the renowned plastic surgeon, Dr. Ben Talei. But it wasn't just any award; it was a recognition of his outstanding achievement in medicine, particularly in the field of facial aesthetics. However, what made headlines was Sia's candid revelation that she had undergone a facelift by Dr. Talei himself. Sia's transparency was evident in her words as she addressed the audience, "I'm a pop star that normally hides my face and doesn't lie about s—. I got an amazing facelift from Dr. Talei." She went on to praise his incredible work, emphasizing that it extended beyond just the world of pop stars. Sia even took the opportunity to share her before-and-after photos with someone backstage, eliciting compliments that affirmed the procedure's success. She couldn't help but express her deep appreciation, saying, "I love him, I can't say enough good about him." Dr. Ben Talei, the creator behind Sia's transformation, aims for a natural look with all his clients. His philosophy centers on respecting the anatomy, ensuring that the results appear as authentic as possible. A facelift involves removing visible signs of aging and excess tissue around the face's perimeter, and skillfully repositioning the remaining skin to restore a youthful appearance. Nevertheless, it's essential to note that these results aren't permanent, as they are subject to the natural aging process.

This is Why Doja Cat Changed Her Album Title

By Silviya Y

Doja Cat's career has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride through the music industry. Starting as an underground artist, Doja Cat's breakthrough moment came with ‘Mooo!’ in 2018, a quirky track that took the internet by storm. She then proved her range with hits like ‘Say So’ and ‘Streets,’  showing her knack for creating infectious melodies. Her distinct voice and fearless approach to music have made her a standout artist in the crowded music field. Doja Cat's album title change from ‘Hellmouth’ to ‘Scarlet’ had sparked intrigue and curiosity among fans. The rapper, known for her eccentricity and bold personality, explained her reasons for this switch during a recent appearance on the ‘First We Feast’ series, ‘Hot Ones.’ "I don't care about the meaning being so deep, as much as the word being a cool word," Doja Cat explained. She initially found ‘Hellmouth’ appealing, likening it to the gates of hell. However, she later felt that the name was too aggressive for her taste, which made her choose ‘Scarlet.’ This choice related to her previous album, ‘Hot Pink,’ as it also featured colour in the title. She explained that while ‘Scarlet’ is a colour, it can also be associated with someone's first name. “Also, red is just a passionate shade,” said the ‘Kiss Me More’ singer.
