Beyoncé’s Dad Wants Destiny’s Child to Work on One Last Album as a Band

By Silviya Y

Despite the fact that Destiny's Child's sabbatical lasted 17 years, Mathew Knowles would support the groundbreaking girl group's reunion if he had his way. “It’s a decision that the ladies would have to make,” Beyoncé‘s father said. “And I would certainly, certainly support that decision as I still manage Destiny’s Child. I would love to see that as well.” Since the release of their 2004 album ‘Destiny Fulfilled’ and 2005 greatest hits collection #1s, the group has undoubtedly regrouped numerous times, including a spectacular performance during Beyoncé's Coachella headline performance in 2018. They have collaborated on several songs throughout the years, including Michelle Williams' 2014 gospel single ‘Say Yes’ and 2013's ‘You Changed’ off Kelly Rowland's Talk a Good Game. They also made appearances in Beyoncé's 2015 self-titled studio album. “I think the fans will be just overjoyed, overwhelmed,” Knowles continued. “And hopefully they do one last time in their career. Hopefully they give us one last album. Who knows? You never know. You never say it can’t happen. Because this is entertainment. A lot of things can happen.”

When it rained during Taylor Swift's recent show, Swifties quickly joined her in dancing in the rain for hours in the outdoor set at Gillette Stadium, Foxborough. Taylor Swift has captured these precious moments and posted them on social media.  “Last night we all danced together in the rain for THE ENTIRE 3.5 HOUR SHOW in foxy Foxborough MA!!,” she wrote. “We’ve had rain shows at Gillette Stadium before but this was a full on deluge that never let up, I just want to thank that iconic crowd!! Love you so much you have no idea.” Swift began her show at 8pm and went through a 45-song set with ‘Blank Space,’ ‘Wildest Dreams,’ ‘Bad Blood’ and quite appropriately, ‘Midnight Rain’ on her list.
