Taylor Swift is Ready to Change The Rule For Surprise Songs in The Eras Tour
Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour has been making headlines for quite some time now and all for the right reasons! Now, Swift is in the talks for changing her previously made rule about the surprise songs portion of her Eras Tour concerts. She announced in Tampa recently that she will now be performing certain songs as many times as she likes instead of performing a song only once. She will be able to perform her favourite tracks during the mini acoustic set of her upcoming stadium shows. “Basically when I started the tour, I was like, ‘In the acoustic section, I am never repeating a song. I’m never doing songs more than once.’ But now I’m like, ‘There are so many songs I want to do more than once,’” Swift said in Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium. Swift added, “So, I’m making a little caveat to the rule, which is that if a song is on ‘Midnights,’ I can do it however many times I want, because ‘Midnights’ is the most accurate picture of my life to date.” Taylor Swift live debuted ‘The Great War’ from ‘Midnights (3am Edition)’ in Tampa during the surprise songs segment with frequent collaborator, Aaron Dessner. She also performed ‘You’re on Your Own kid’ from ‘Midnights’. The former peaked at No. 26 and the latter at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 respectively. Swift first told her fans about the acoustic section of her long-awaited live show in Glendale.
Offset Got a Full Back Tattoo to Honour His Cousin Takeoff
Offset paid tribute to his cousin Takeoff with a tattoo that covers his entire back. This tattoo is an artistic representation of a photo of the late rapper. Takeoff was not only Offset’s family member, but he was also his Migos bandmate before he passed away in an unfortunate event last year. Offset showed off his new tattoo on Instagram. “Love you 4L & after,” Offset captioned the post. Offset took to Instagram to express his grief over Takeoff's death last year and wrote, “The pain you have left me with is unbearable. My heart is shattered and I have so many things to say, but I can’t find the words. I’ve been going to sleep and waking up hoping that all of this is a dream, but it’s reality and reality feels like a nightmare.”
Karol G Talks About Photoshop Following Magazine Cover Criticism in Her ‘SNL’ Sketch
Karol G continues to talk against the photoshopped magazine photos during her ‘SNL’ sketch. In a cameo during the show, she made a statement with her black T-shirt with the word 'photoshop' crossed out. This is in reference to her disappointment over the cover shoot of GQ Mexico. She performed in a sketch called ‘Spanish Class’ where Ana de Armas portrays an exceptionally good Spanish-speaking student who outshines her own struggling teacher. After the teacher leaves the classroom because of utter embarrassment, Karol G takes over and assists the students using a catchy alphabet tune. Karol G used this opportunity to express her concerns about the photoshopping in the magazine which completely altered her photographs. She expressed her disapproval earlier in a social media post wherein she noted that the image did not represent her. “Today my GQ magazine cover was made public, a cover with an image that does not represent me,” she wrote. “My face doesn’t look like that, my body doesn’t look like that and I feel very happy and comfortable with how I look naturally.”
