Cardi B Has Got Her First Face Tattoo

Cardi B is increasing the number of tattoos she has, but this time it’s on her face.

Hairstylist Luis Santana shared a video of his buddy Cardi getting red ink around her jawline on a tattoo bed on his Instagram Stories over the weekend. He tagged the “I Like It” rapper in the caption for the video, writing “Tattoo surprise.”

Later, Cardi and tattoo artist Robinson De Los Santos posted a selfie to their respective Instagram Stories that clearly showed the facial tattoo, albeit it’s unclear what it actually says.

Fans think that the rapper may have had the name of her baby, Wave, tattooed on her face. In a tweet from January, she made a vague reference to having that particular tattoo, writing, that this was a random decision, but she is 1% close to getting her son’s name on her face and that she badly wants to do it.

Cardi posted pictures on social media in July to mark Wave’s 10th month. The infant boy is seen in the pictures sporting a plain white onesie with what appears to be an inside-out crocheted blue and white ski mask placed over his head.
