Doja Cat Hints That the Music on Her Upcoming Album Was Inspired by ‘90s German Rave’

Doja Cat revealed that the rave music of the 1990s in Germany served as inspiration for her new album.

The Grammy winner continued by claiming that her striking new appearance, a shaved head and eyebrows, which she frequently fills in with varied cosmetic looks, had partially unlocked the potential of her future sound. She mentioned that she always wanted to do it, and that she finally did it.

The ‘Vegas’ rapper also took a minute to set her potential switch in musical direction apart from the current revival of dance music, which has been greatly aided by the albums that Drake and Beyoncé have both released this year: ‘Honestly,Nevermind’ and ‘Renaissance’ respectively.

Doja is now constructing a music studio at her home.
