Fortnite Rumours Point to Anakin Skywalker Joining as Boss NPC

Fresh Fortnite leaks are hinting that Anakin Skywalker could be making a return before the end of the Galactic Battle event—and this time, as a hostile boss NPC. According to insiders, the character might appear with his own medallion and exclusive loot, adding more excitement to this month’s Star Wars-themed content.

The Galactic Battle season, which launched on May 2, introduced a range of Star Wars features to Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode. These include themed weapons, iconic locations, ships, and recognizable characters scattered across the island—much to the delight of fans of the franchise.

However, after the initial wave of content, Fortnite players noted a lack of updates during the first two weeks of the event. That’s set to change on May 15, when a mid-season update will go live, bringing new quests, cosmetics, and the long-awaited General Grievous skin, which has been teased since the event began.

Alongside the confirmed content, dataminers like Loolo_WLRD have revealed that a new boss encounter may be arriving—believed to be Anakin Skywalker. If true, this boss could follow the typical Fortnite pattern, where defeating him would unlock a medallion, similar to other boss battles throughout the game. Leaks also mention that this character could summon Stormtroopers, a mechanic previously used in Darth Vader boss fights, lending more credibility to the Anakin theory.

Still, there’s a chance it may not be Anakin—some fans speculate that the mystery character might actually be the rumored Darth Jar Jar Binks instead. As of now, Epic Games hasn’t confirmed any of these details.

With the Galactic Battle event ending on June 7, any new additions like Anakin will need to go live soon to be meaningful. The May 15 update is likely the last major content drop for the season, so players should watch for leaks during that patch's downtime, which could confirm whether Skywalker is really coming back to Fortnite in a new way.
