Lisa Reveals BLACKPINK Are Recording New Album in the Studio

Lisa has confirmed that a new BLACKPINK album is on the horizon. The K-pop supergroup is set to reunite for a major stadium tour in 2025. The tour will conclude with a landmark show at London’s Wembley Stadium, where BLACKPINK will become the first K-pop girl group to headline the iconic venue.

In a recent interview, Lisa revealed that the group had recently been in the studio and that a new album is in the works. She shared that the members were thrilled to be back together preparing for the upcoming tour and expressed how much they missed their fans, affectionately known as Blinks. According to her, the album is “coming soon,” though no official release date has been announced.

Lisa encouraged fans to be patient, adding that the wait would be worth it and hinting that the group felt it was the right time to return. The upcoming release will mark BLACKPINK’s third full-length album, following their 2022 record Born Pink.

Since that last album, the members have each pursued individual projects. Lisa made her acting debut in the third season of The White Lotus and took the stage at the 2025 Oscars in a tribute to the James Bond franchise, performing alongside RAYE, Doja Cat, and actress Margaret Qualley.

Jennie released her first solo album ‘Ruby’ in March, Rosé followed with rosie in December, and Jisoo dropped her mini-album Amortage in early February. Despite their solo ventures, the group is now gearing up for a highly anticipated comeback.
