NCT Get The Ball Rolling For ‘Resonance Pt. 2’

The star-studded Kpop group, NCT, recently created quite a splash with the first installment of their second studio album, “Resonance Pt. 1”. The album has soared through charts world over and has raked in some impressive streaming figures. But the boys aren’t resting on their laurels just yet. Almost a month after the album made its descent, NCT is now gearing up for their second and final installment, “Resonance Pt. 2”.
Interestingly, this new album will see the group split up into new units, allowing fans the opportunity to see different combinations of the 23 members.

“Resonance Pt. 1” witnessed three lead singles: ‘Misfit,’ ‘Make A Wish (Birthday Song)‘ and ‘From Home’. All three tracks proved to be starkly different from each other. The former two witnessed a string of sizzling rap verses, tossed up with a powerful cocktail of beats. While the latter took things down a notch, opting for sweeter harmonies and dreamy falsettos.

This album kept warm a good 13 tracks and also made some big moves on the charts. The record claimed the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s US World Albums chart, peaking at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart and once again claiming the spotlight atop South Korea’s Gaon chart. Further, the band’s agency, SM Entertainment, confirmed that “Resonance Pt. 1” sold 1,428,765 copies, notching a new height for the boys.

Preceding the release of their upcoming album, NCT will also be hosting a Twitter Blueroom live broadcast, on November 6th. During this event, they will be revealing the title of one of their new tracks, while also dishing out other details on “Resonance Pt. 2”.

The album itself is set to make its descent on November 23rd.
