Post Malone Believes He Was Haunted

Post Malone revealed earlier on a talk show that he believes he was haunted from a Dybbuk box. He came into contact with the object in 2018.

Now the rapper is finally opening up about the experience and the chain of events that led him to believe he had been cursed by the box.

What Is A Dybbuk Box?

The legend of the Dybbuk Box first started when a man called Kevin Mannis auctioned a wine cabinet on eBay, stating it was possessed. A “dybbuk” is a concept from Jewish mythology and concerns a restless, usually malicious, spirit said to be able to haunt and even possess the living. Yikes!

Post Malone experienced a run of bad luck in 2018 after appearing on TV show ‘Ghost Adventures’. During the episode, which was set at host Zak Bagans’ Haunted Museum in Las Vegas, Bagans touched a “Dybbuk box” while Malone was touching his shoulder.

The item also inspired the 2012 movie ‘The Possession’.

On The Late Night Show

Post Malone appeared on the ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’ on Monday night February 1st, from his home in Utah, where he is apparently building an underground panic bunker.

Post claims to be a firm believer in the supernatural. He said 2018 resulted in an epic string of bad luck that felt otherworldly. “After we opened up this creepy, creepy Dybbuk Box I got in a car accident, I got in like almost had a plane wreck, my house got broken into, all that type of stuff… within a months’ time,” Malone said of that weird stretch of bad luck after he and Bagans opened what is considered to be the world’s most haunted object.

During the interview, he also talks about his belief in aliens. Last year, he revealed that he experienced his first UFO encounter when he was just 16.

“Especially here in Utah, things are creepy if you look up into the sky,” he tells Seth Meyers. “Sometimes I just go out at like 4 a.m. with my night vision goggles and just look up at the sky and see if I can see anything”. Gotta have a hobby, right?
