Post Malone to Tackle Loneliness In New Album

The music world has been witness to a lot of action as of late. From fiery collaborations to new albums, the scene has been buzzing with life. And now, it appears that artists might have to make way for a familiar king. Who is it? He goes by the name Post Malone, and yes, you guessed it. He’s gearing up to drop a brand new album.

While in quarantine in Utah, the star is currently working on his new record. And according to him, it is inspired by what’s going on in the world right now and, he hopes, it will “uplift people’s spirits.”

While Post Malone is in no way forcing the creative process, he’s letting present experiences speak for themselves and weaving those thoughts and emotions into something special.

Speaking of the concept behind his upcoming tracks, Posty had this to say: “There’s so much to say in these times that will give people hope and hopefully uplift people’s spirits. Because it’s a dark time in America. It’s a dark time in the world. Honestly, for a songwriter to be in the house all day is a blessing and a curse. In the darkest of times I’m just trying to make something beautiful out of it.”

Well, we can firmly say that everyone shares the latter sentiment. Due to the global coronavirus pandemic, much like other artists, Post Malone has had to reschedule his Runaway Tour dates. And while he confessed to missing the rush of stepping on stage and hearing crowds chant his name – a little free time for introspection never did any harm.

Now, coming to his songwriting process, the star hopes that his catalogue of new music will help keep the loneliness at bay.

“I want to make an album that will uplift and show that people are not alone in their times of loneliness and worry and that at the end of the day we all just need to show love to everyone on the planet and figure things out. So we’re working pretty hard, and I think we’re making some incredible stuff.”

Despite the fact that his latest album, ‘Hollywood’s Bleeding,’ came out in September 2019, his absence from the music scene has not been strongly felt. And that’s mostly because his smash hit, ‘Circles’ continues to do the rounds on charts world over. So, perhaps by September this year, a new song will overtake ‘Circle’s’ winning streak. Well, only time will tell.
