Springsteen commended Graham’s portrayal of his father, Douglas Springsteen, in the upcoming biopic ‘Deliver Me From Nowhere’. The drama, centred on the creation of Springsteen’s 1982 album ‘Nebraska’, stars Jeremy Allen White as the singer-songwriter, with Graham taking on the elder Springsteen’s role.
Speaking to The Sunday Times, Springsteen described Graham’s performance as both ethereal and deeply moving. Graham later recalled to Soundtracking that he received an unexpectedly heartfelt message from Springsteen—calling the portrayal more rewarding than any award—and admitted he was moved to tears by the singer’s words.

A first trailer, released last week, offered fans a proper glimpse of White in character. Springsteen has also confessed to Rolling Stone that revisiting some of the singer’s most painful memories on screen proved so intense that he sometimes chose to remain off-set rather than watch.
Supporting Cast And Springsteen’s Political Commentary
The cast is completed by Jeremy Strong as manager and producer Jon Landau, Paul Walter Hauser as engineer Mike Batlan and Odessa Young as Faye. Meanwhile, Springsteen has not shied away from political commentary off-screen, recently criticising the US President’s immigration raids as “disgusting and dehumanising” and reflecting that he has never experienced anything like the current administration’s actions in his lifetime.
