Channing Tatum on Filming With Fiancée Zoë Kravitz: ‘It’s Like Creating a Marriage’ 

Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum thoroughly enjoyed working together on their film, ‘Blink Twice’. At the movie’s Los Angeles premiere, Tatum, 44, shared exclusively with PEOPLE that starring in his fiancée’s directorial debut was a deeply rewarding experience. 

He described the process as comparable to creating something as meaningful as a marriage, explaining, “To get to create something with someone that you love is probably one of the most gratifying things other than having a kid with somebody… everything that we are is going into this.”

Kravitz, 35, echoed his sentiments, expressing how the creative journey strengthened their bond. She noted that collaborating on the film brought them closer, highlighting the trust and support they shared throughout the project. Reflecting on the experience, Kravitz said, “We got to work together and go through hard things together and support each other, and it was beautiful.”

During her opening remarks at the screening, Kravitz expressed her gratitude to Tatum, thanking him for his unwavering support. She humorously acknowledged his patience with her perfectionist tendencies and praised the experience of making a film together as an “awfully great adventure.” She added, “It’s really very cool to get to make a movie, but when you get to do it with the love of your life, it’s even cooler.”

The couple, who got engaged in October 2023 after being romantically linked since 2021, attended the premiere in matching all-black outfits. Kravitz looked stunning in a Saint Laurent gown, while Tatum was dapper in a black suit. ‘Blink Twice’, also featuring Naomi Ackie, Adria Arjona, and Haley Joel Osment, hits theatres on 23rd August.
