Charli XCX has a bold new vision for the ‘Final Destination’ franchise—and she’s putting herself at the centre of it. The 32-year-old Brat artist took to TikTok to share her thoughts on what she believes should come next for the long-running horror series, imagining a stylish and star-studded ‘Final Destination 7’ featuring today's most talked-about "It Girls."

Relaxing poolside in sunny Sicily, Charli XCX revealed that she’s been rewatching the entire ‘Final Destination’ collection to prepare for the latest instalment, ‘Bloodlines’. Reflecting on what makes the franchise so iconic, she pointed to its unapologetically wild premise: beautiful people meeting gruesome ends with no attempt at moral lessons. To her, that blend of glamour and chaos is exactly the appeal.

Charli XCX believes the films succeed no matter the cast, but she has ideas for shaking things up. She floated the concept of a fresh take—a version of ‘Final Destination’ centred around modern-day cultural icons. In her vision, a new film would cast influencers and trendsetters like Rachel Sennott, Alex Consani, Gabbriette, Romy Mars, Quenlin Blackwell, Devon Lee Carlson—and of course, herself.

Charli XCX Creative Vision

Charli XCX also sees potential in bringing in both new and veteran scream queens. Jenna Ortega, known for roles in ‘Wednesday’, ‘Scream’, and ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’, came to mind, along with horror legend Sissy Spacek, who could add a classic touch to the chaos.

Rachel Sennott responded enthusiastically to the idea online, giving a green light in the comments. Charli responded in kind, ready to bring the vision to life.

Behind the camera, Charli XCX has directors in mind, too. She pitched genre favourites like Ti West and Robert Rodriguez to lead the bloody spectacle. The film, she imagines, wouldn’t need much tweaking—just a stylish, ultra-violent thrill ride with standout dialogue and visuals.

Her concept embraces the core of ‘Final Destination’: cursed characters marked for death and picked off in creative, shocking ways. With a hornet briefly interrupting her musings mid-video, Charli XCX returned to the core idea—hot people, high fashion, brutal deaths, and zero apologies.

‘Final Destination: Bloodlines’ is currently playing in theatres, continuing the legacy of a franchise that began in 2000 with a chilling premonition and a plane explosion. The newest film aims to thrill longtime fans and new audiences alike, while Charli XCX’s take might just inspire a stylish, scream-worthy sequel for the next generation.
