Irish actor Cillian Murphy, best known for his roles in 'Peaky Blinders,' and 'Oppenheimer,' has quietly watched his son step into the spotlight. In the new HBO & Sky series 'WAR,' his 17-year-old son Aran Murphy, who looks a lot like him, is making what is being hailed as his big television acting debut. With Aran playing Gabriel and veteran actors Dominic West and Sienna Miller leading the cast, the new movie is a momentous occasion for both father and son.
Cillian Murphy's Look Alike Son Takes a Bold Step
Born on 25th May, 1976, in Douglas, Ireland, Cillian Murphy has had a distinguished career that includes both indie darlings and big-budget epics like 'Oppenhiemer,' 'Peaky Blinders,' 'Inception,' and many more. He and his wife, Yvonne McGuinness, welcomed two sons, Malachy (born 2005) and Aran (born 2007).

Many observers noted the uncanny resemblance between father and son when Aran's casting was announced: as one fan commented, "Gosh at first I thought it's Cillian's youth photo, but then I realised it's his son. Aran really looks like his father!" While praising his son's abilities, Cillian has made it apparent that he will not be offering him any advice, stating, "He doesn't need my advice. He's well able."

Known for his novels 'Lupin,' and 'Hijack,' George Kay is the creator of the slick, high-stakes judicial drama 'WAR.' It is reported to be set in the prestigious world of London, has been given a two‑season order by HBO and Sky. At its heart are two rival law firms—Cathcarts and Taylor & Byrne, who are locked in a 'divorce case of the century' that uncovers betrayal, reputations on the line, boardroom and bedroom intrigue.

The lead cast includes Dominic West as tech titan Morgan Henderson and Sienna Miller as his estranged wife, international film star Carla Duval. Phoebe Fox, James McArdle, Nina Sosanya, and Pip Torrens are among the other cast members.
As of now the exact premiere date has not been publicly announced, but the show will debut on HBO and HBO Max in the U.S., and on Sky and Now/WOW in the UK, Ireland and other territories. According to sources, Aran will portray Gabriel, a smart and astute young man enmeshed in the intense legal disputes between competing London law firms. It is anticipated that Gabriel’s performance will infuse the gripping drama of 'WAR' with new insight and youthful vitality.
