Katy Perry's concert in Sydney was interrupted when a fan stormed the stage. During her 'Lifetimes' 2025 world tour performance at the Qudos Bank Arena, a fan approached Perry while she was singing 'Hot N Cold' and put his arm around her. As Perry moved away, the fan began to floss, stating there would "never be another show like this," urging everyone to "just enjoy it."
Security guards eventually removed the fan, though it took some time, prompting Perry to exclaim mid-song, "What the hell is going on?!"
The 'Sydney Morning Herald' identified the fan as Johnson Wen, known for frequently invading stages for his TikTok account, @pyjamamann. He had previously interrupted The Weeknd's show in Melbourne and The Chainsmokers' set at Palm Tree Festival in Sydney last year.

NSW Police confirmed they had arrested Wen and charged him with "entering enclosed land and obstructing a person in performance of work or duties." Wen received conditional bail and is due in Burwood Local Court on June 23, in addition to a six-month ban from Sydney Olympic Park.
Perry is currently touring in support of her album '143', which she released last year. The singer had previously faced controversy after travelling to space to reveal the 'Lifetimes' tour setlist last April. Social media users criticised the flight as "wealth tourism," with Emily Ratajkowski expressing her disgust and food chain Wendy's also weighing in. Lily Allen initially slammed the space mission as "out of touch" but later retracted her comments, admitting they were "mean" and stemmed from "internalised misogyny."
Katy Perry's Upcoming UK Tour and Philanthropy
Perry is set to begin the UK leg of her 'Lifetimes' tour in October. Following the lead of artists like Coldplay, Enter Shikari, and Sam Fender, Perry will donate £1 from each ticket sale to the Music Venue Trust, a government-backed scheme aiding grassroots venues. She has also recently addressed online hate in a message to her fans.
